Kira AI

Kira AI is an AI assistant that goes beyond chat. On top of the core assistant it adds practical surfaces people use every day (meal planning, recipes, shopping lists and a nutritionist view among them), each built as its own self-contained module so new capabilities can ship without touching the parts that already work.

The problem

A single chat box doesn't cover what people actually want an assistant to do. The product needed room to grow into many focused tools (meal planning, nutrition, consultants and more) without every new feature risking the stability of the live app, and without a team of different developers each reinventing auth, billing, storage and AI streaming.

Architecture

Kira handles sign-in, plans and billing centrally, so every tool you use shares one account. The meal-planning side turns a week into a plan you can act on (recipes, a generated shopping list, reusable templates and a nutritionist view), and new tools slot in over time without disrupting the ones you already rely on.

Outcome

An AI assistant platform backed by an isolated, extensible module architecture: shared auth, billing and streaming written once, with focused surfaces (meal planning, nutrition and AI consultants) building on top without destabilising the core.
